Right next door to our flagship North Knox location, at 1134 N. Broadway, you’ll now find our bakery and walk-in market – a place to pick up a box of pastries for breakfast or a fresh loaf of bread for dinner. You can’t miss the building; it’s the warehouse known for the beloved “Greetings from Knoxville” mural painted on the side. That mural was a major selling point for us when we found the space. We wanted this bakery to be more than a production facility – we wanted it to be a hub for locals and tourists alike, a place to experience the best parts of the city all under one roof.

Our story with baking goes back further than most realize. Since 2019, we’ve relied on a small 500-square-foot bakery operation to supply every K Brew location with our famous bagels. It got the job done, but it was tight, and as K Brew grew from that first little 450-square-foot shop on Broadway in 2013 to four locations, we knew we needed room to dream bigger. This new space is ten times the size of our old bakery, which means an exponential increase in what we can make fresh every day.

Walk in the front doors and you’ll find our market, stocked each morning with goods straight from the ovens in back: coffee cake, blueberry muffins, Danishes, cinnamon knots, and donut loaves, alongside the K Brew breads and bagels you already know and love. We’ve also filled the shelves with items from local vendors we admire – think fresh pasta, rice, and other pantry staples – because supporting Knoxville and Tennessee makers has been part of who we are from day one. Whether you’re a neighbor grabbing your weekly bagel supply or a visitor snapping a photo in front of the mural, there’s something here for you to take home.

The bakery sits in the heart of Historic North Knox, our original neighborhood and still one of our favorite corners of the city. Make a morning of it: grab a coffee at our North Knox shop next door, browse the market, then take a drive up to Sharps Ridge for one of the best views of the Smoky Mountains and downtown Knoxville. If you’re still hungry come evening, we recommend a beer at Crafty Bastard and pizza at Pizzeria Nora – both just up the road.

The bakery and walk-in market is open 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday. Come see us, smell the bread baking, and grab a little piece of Knoxville to go.
