OUR HOME IN HARDIN VALLEY

Hardin Valley is the fastest growing part of Knox County, and it is not particularly close. The community sits about fifteen miles west of downtown Knoxville, tucked between Pellissippi Parkway, Lovell Road, and the ridges that run toward Oak Ridge. It counted roughly 10,000 residents in 2010 and has been adding around 2,000 a year since 2014, which means new subdivisions, new apartments, and a lot of people still figuring out where their spot is. The valley runs on a few overlapping schedules: parents doing the morning drop off at Hardin Valley Elementary, Middle, and Academy; students heading to class at Pellissippi State; engineers and researchers commuting toward Oak Ridge; and everybody else trying to beat the traffic on Hardin Valley Road. We have spent enough time out here to know that a good cup of coffee and a fast line matter more in this zip code than almost anywhere else we operate.

K Brew Hardin Valley is going up right now at 10837 Hardin Valley Road, in a new building under construction next door to Rock N’ Roll Sushi, which opened this summer. Building from the ground up means we get to design this store around how the valley actually moves instead of working around somebody else’s floor plan. It will have everything we are known for. There is a drive thru for the mornings when you are already running late and the carpool lane will not wait. There is hammock seating, the same that we introduced in Historic North Knox that has since become a thing people tell their friends about. There is patio seating outside for the fall afternoons that make East Tennessee worth living in. Inside you will find our full food menu, including the handmade New York style bagels we make fresh, along with high speed wifi, bar tops, and comfortable seats with room to actually work. We will announce the opening date on our social channels, so keep an eye out.
